Heydar Aliyev Foundation thanks participants and sponsors of Baku Marathon 2017

Baku. 1 May. REPORT.AZ/ Heydar Aliyev Foundation thanked the participants and sponsors of Baku Marathon 2017.

It was stated that Baku Marathon 2017, which was held on April 30 on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, was remembered with popularity, interesting moments.

Over 13.000 participants, joining the marathon supported the ideas of solidarity, healthy lifestyle. According to information, over 1.000 foreigners, 600 representatives from Azerbaijani regions took part in this year's marathon as well as students took more active part.

Notably, the marathon, to be held for the second time, was organized with the support of the Seaside Boulevard Office and Baku Olympic Stadium. The project was implemented by the "Sport Marketing Group" (SMG) company. Baku Marathon 2017 also united many organizations around it. Representatives of more than 60 organizations and companies, acting in the country, participated in the contest.

Also a number of organizations and companies acted as partners and sponsors of the marathon: Education Ministry, Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, SOCAR, IDEA Public Union, Regional Development Public Union, “GreenCar”, "Azer Turk Bank", “GoSport”, Turkish Airlines, "Coca Cola”, “Huawei”, “Alfa Romeo”, “Ernst & Young”, “Kontakt Home”.
