Baku. 21 January. REPORT.AZ/ American TV channel ESPN suspended Australian commentator Doug Adler from work for comparison of tennis player Venus Williams with gorilla during the opening match on January 19.
Report informs citing the Independent.
" During the broadcast on ESPN3 channel Doug Adler had to carefully select words.He apologized, and we dismissed him from commenting on the remaining matches of the tournament, "- the statement of the channel reads.
