Baku. 28 March. REPORT.AZ/ Chess-players to participate in the ShamkirChess2017 international tournament, dedicated to the memory of Vugar Hashimov, have been identified.
Report informs, alongside with Azerbaijani grandmasters Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Teymur Rajabov, Wesley So (USA), Vladimir Kramnik and Sergey Karjakin (Russia), Michael Adams (England), Pentala Harikrishna (India), Pavel Eljanov (Ukraine), Radosław Wojtaszek (Poland), Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria) will compete in the tournament to be organized for the 4th time.
The tournament will begin on April 20.
Notably, latest winner of the ShamkirChess tournament iwas Shahriyar Mammadyarov. Norwegian Magnus Carlsen won the previous two tournaments.
