Baku to host Heydar Aliyev Cup-2025 international boxing tournament

The Heydar Aliyev Cup-2025 international boxing tournament for junior male and female boxers will be held in Baku from May 16 to 21, Report informs.
In addition to the Azerbaijani national team, the competition will feature teams from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Montenegro, Russia, Belarus, Türkiye, and Georgia.
More than 200 boxers are set to compete across fourteen men’s and nine women’s weight categories.
The finals will take place on May 21.
The Azerbaijani national team, consisting of 60 junior boxers, will compete for the title.
The tournament supervisor will be Igor Biletsky (Ukraine), and the chief referee will be Anar Babanli.
