Baku Marathon 2022 starts on Heydar Aliyev Foundation's initiative

The 5^th Baku Marathon has started on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Report informs.

About 15,000 participants have registered for the Baku Marathon 2022, held under the “Beat the Wind” slogan.

Along with locals, foreigners living and working in Azerbaijan, as well as participants from many other countries, such as the United States, Germany, the UAE, the United Kingdom, China, France, Cameroon, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uganda, have joined the marathon.

The Baku Marathon, first organized in 2016, aims to support sports and promote a healthy lifestyle.
