Baku hosts open rowing championship

Baku has played host to an exhilarating open rowing championship.

According to Report, this prestigious event, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation and the Baku City Youth and Sports Department, brought together approximately 80 junior athletes in a display of skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

Competitors tested their mettle across various disciplines, including academic rowing, kayaking, and canoeing. The young athletes faced challenging races over distances of 200 and 500 meters, pushing their limits and striving for excellence in each category.

At the conclusion of the event, victorious participants were honored with diplomas and medals.
