Azerbaijani rower claims silver medal in Italy

Diana Dymchenko, a member of the Azerbaijani academic rowing team, competed in the traditional Silver Skiff international regatta organized in Turin, Italy, the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation told Report.

Over 700 athletes of different age categories from about 30 countries took part in the competition, organized for the 32nd time.

The rowers covered a distance of 11 kilometers in the regatta, which consisted of one stage. Diana Dymchenko, performing in a one-person academic rowing boat, crossed the finish line second, claiming a silver medal after completing the distance in 44 minutes and 54 seconds.
