Azerbaijani chess player crowned European champion

Azerbaijani female chess player Ulviyya Fataliyeva won the European Championship held in Rhodes, Greece.
Report informs that the 27-year-old grandmaster won first place by scoring 8.5 points in 10 games. In the last round, she drew with Georgian representative Nino Batsiashvili (0.5:0.5).
Ulviyya Fataliyeva went down in history as the first Azerbaijani chess player to be crowned European champion.
