Azerbaijani chess player becomes world champion

Azerbaijani chess player Govhar Beydullayeva took first place at the World Youth Chess Championship held in Italy, Report informs.
She turned out to be stronger than all her competitors in rapid chess, gaining 9 points after 11 rounds.
Mahammad Muradli took eighth place with 6.5 points.
The World Championship will continue with blitz competitions.
