Azerbaijani boxer qualifies for World Cup semifinals

The World Boxing Cup Kazakhstan 2025 continues in Astana, Report informs.
On the third day of the competition, another boxer from the Azerbaijan national team advanced to the next stage.
In the 1/4 finals, Subhan Mamedov (50 kg) was supposed to face Samet Gumus (Türkiye), but the opponent did not show up for the fight. As a result, Azerbaijani boxer qualified for the semifinals. With this, he has secured at least a bronze medal for himself.
The 1/4 final stage fights continue in the World Cup, which is attended by about 300 boxers from 30 countries.
