Azerbaijani alpinists have conquered Mount Kilimanjaro.
Report informs citing the Azerbaijan Alpinism Federation (AAF) that a team of 7 people climbed the highest peak of the African continent.
The expedition organized under the leadership of Garib Taghizada started on February 9 and ended on February 12.
The team consisting of Garib Taghizada, Elbay Mustafabayli, Fariz Rahimov, Turkan Farzaliyeva, Elshan Yusubov, Ashraf Huseynov and Ilkin Kahramanli have reached the 5895-meter Kilimanjaro peak and waved the flags of Azerbaijan and AAF.
