Universiade-2019: Azerbaijan flag hoisted in Naples

The flag hoisting ceremony was held in honor of the Azerbaijani delegation, who attended the 30th World Summer Universiade in Naples, Italy.

Report informs citing the Ministry of Youth and Sports that the event took place at the Athletes Village at 13:00 Baku time. The opening ceremony of the Universiade will start at 23:00 local time at the San Paulo stadium, where Napoli’s home matches are held. The banner bearer of Azerbaijan will be Murad Fatiyev, silver and bronze winner of European championship among juniors.

Notably, the 30th World Summer Universiade will last until July 14.
