Wildfire in mountains of Azerbaijan's Masalli district extinguished

Thanks to the swift and urgent measures taken by the Emergency Situations Ministry of Azerbaijan, a wildfire that broke out in a mountainous area near the Gariblyar village of the country’s Masalli district was extinguished last night, preventing it from spreading to a broader scope, Report informs, citing the ministry.

The wildfire burnt an area of about 5.5 hectares.

The dense forest area is protected from fires.
