Two power poles blown up in Afghanistan, leaving 11 provinces without electricity

Two power transmission towers were blown up in the Parwan province in central Afghanistan, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
The explosion left eleven provinces of the country, including Kabul, without electricity, according to the Afghan energy company Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS).
"Two power transmission towers were destroyed ... in the Tagma district in the south of Salang in the Parwan province as a result of a landmine explosion. In connection with this incident, electricity was cut off in Kabul and ten other provinces," the company's website said in a statement.
