State Security Service warns against dissemination of false information about border situation

The State Security Service (SSS) has warned those, who spread false information about the situation at the border, Report informs, citing the report of the SSS.

"Recently, a number of media outlets and social networking resources have been spreading untrue information about certain provocations committed by the Armenian armed forces on the state border, aimed at creating panic and confusing public opinion. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the circulation of such biased, false and misleading information is liable in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We call on our citizens not to believe in such information, which is detrimental to the national security and interests of Azerbaijan, unfounded, not elaborated with relevant government agencies, and not confirmed by official sources."
