State Migration Service addresses foreigners

The State Migration Service extends the stay period of foreigners registered at the place of residence in Azerbaijan, whose stay expires by August 1, 2020, for 30 to 60 days, Report says.

The decision is related to the extension of restrictions applied on entry and exit at the state border until August 1.

The foreigners, whose temporary staying period have been protracted for up to 60 days (by payment of the relevant state fee), are eligible to remain in the country without the payment of additional state fee until movement restrictions are removed. These foreigners will be required to leave the territory of the country or apply for a temporary residence permit, if there are appropriate grounds, shortly after restrictions applied on movement at the state border are lifted. Additional information will be provided in this regard.

There is no need to collect a hard copy of the decisions on the extension of the temporary stay term. If necessary, they can obtain a duplicate through the website of the Service (https://eservice.migration.gov.az/public/application-track).
