As of today, 210 individuals are officially registered as missing in connection with the Khojaly genocide, according to the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons.

Report informs that Eldar Samadov, Deputy Head of the Commission’s Working Group, said identification work will be carried out in a laboratory on the remains discovered along the Askaran-Khojaly road:

"According to current data, the State Commission has registered 210 people as missing in connection with the Khojaly genocide. Of these, 38 are children, 42 are military personnel, and the rest are civilians. Of the 18 individuals found in Khojaly last year, the remains of 10 have been returned to their families. The identification of the remaining bodies is ongoing."

According to Samadov, this is the third mass grave discovered in Khojaly.
