People who damaged Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev statue detained

Those who damaged the monument to Azerbaijani philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev have been detained, Police Major Elshad Hajiyev, head of the media and public relations department of the Interior Ministry's Press Service, told Report.

"The people who damaged the statue of Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev were identified and detained by the police at night. The torn element of the statue was restored with the participation of the sculptor," he said.

At present, the case is under investigation.
