Man kills his wife in Absheron

The Absheron district prosecutor's office received information about the murder of Inji Umarova, born in 1999, living in a rented house in Khirdalan, Absheron region, on October 7 at 11 o'clock.

According to the Absheron District Prosecutor's Office, the investigation revealed that the victim's husband, Sanan Umarov, born in 1991, intentionally stabbed Inji Umarova to death during a personal dispute.

The Absheron District Prosecutor's Office launched a criminal case under Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code.

Sanan Umarov was detained as a suspect and is under investigation.

Investigative measures are underway.
