Lightning strike sparks wildfire in mountainous area of Azerbaijan's Shaki

A lightning strike in the mountainous terrain of Shaki has ignited a wildfire.

According to the northwest bureau of Report, the fire broke out near the village of Qozlubulaq.

Emergency response teams from the Shaki District State Fire Protection Unit, including both personnel and equipment, have been deployed to contain the blaze.

Efforts to extinguish the fire are currently underway.
