Internal Ministry identifies individuals who spread fake news on social networks about military operations, Azerbaijani martyrs

The Internal Affairs Ministry of Azerbaijan has identified individuals who were spreading fake news about military operations and Azerbaijani martyrs, Report informs, citing the ministry.

"Several social media accounts have been disseminating fake news about military operations, equipment, and Azerbaijani martyrs. The police officers identified those persons, and measures are being undertaken against them under the law.

We urge our citizens to refrain from sharing fake news that is wide off the mark and aims to mislead public opinion. Such cases entail liability under the law," the ministry added.
