Fire breaks out in area mined by Armenians in Khojavend

A fire broke out in an open area and partly forested area in a mountainous territory with a complex relief mined by the enemy near the village of Shahyeri in the Khojavend region, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Report.

According to the information received by the Ministry's 112 hotline, two helicopters of the Aviation Detachment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately involved in extinguishing the fire.

Thanks to operative and urgent measures, the fire was extinguished, preventing it from spreading to the dense forest area.
