Fire breaks out in 16-storey residential building in Baku

The 112 hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information about a fire in a sixteen-story residential building in the Narimanov district of Baku, Report informs.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the relevant rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately dispatched to the scene.

By the preliminary information, electric cables are burning in the building well. Firefighting works are underway.

Further information will be provided to the public.

Fire protection units involved in the firefighting work faced difficulties because of improper parking of cars at the entrance and in the yard of the residential building.
