Criminal case launched against soldier for absence without leave

The Military Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan has launched a probe after it received materials about the illegal actions of a serviceman of the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense, soldier Malikov Aziz Soltanpasha oglu, including absence without leave.

Report has learned from the Military Prosecutor's Office that as a result of investigation, a criminal case was initiated under Article 333.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Currently, the investigation is ongoing and all necessary measures will be taken in accordance with the requirements of the law.

Malikov filmed his hooligan actions and shared the video on his social networks account.
