Azerbaijani judge dies from coronavirus

A 55-year-old judge of Baku Court of Appeal Namig Mammadov has died from the coronavirus at the hospital in Astara, MP Fail Mustafa said June 26.
“He was a precious person, my dear friend. May Allah have mercy on him. Don’t joke with the disease. Protect yourself, your relatives.”
Mammadov was the judge of Aghdam District Court in 2000-2007, Shaki Court of Appeal in 2007-2013, Shirvan Court of Appeal in 2013-2017. Since 2017, he has been the judge of the Baku Court of Appeal.
