Azerbaijan’s ex-envoy to Ukraine put on wanted list

Former Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine Talat Aliyev has been put on the wanted list, Report informs, citing the information on the website of the Baku Main Police Department.
The 79-year-old diplomat is charged under Article 179 (Misappropriation or embezzlement) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
Talat Museyib oglu Aliyev was born in 1942 in the city of Nakhchivan. In 2001-2010, he served as the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine. Talat Aliyev was also the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Belarus and Moldova in 2002-2006.
