Azerbaijan arrests property worth AZN101 million in 2021

In 2021, the investigation of 301 criminal cases against 492 persons, who committed corruption-related offenses, was completed and was transferred to courts, Report informs, citing an operational meeting at the Prosecutor-General's Office.

It is noted that compensation for damage in the amount of AZN39,224,000 was paid, in addition, an arrest was imposed on property in the amount of AZN101,373,000. Individuals, exempted from criminal liability in accordance with the current legislation, paid an additional AZN2,195,000 to the state budget.
