651 foreign nationals currently serving sentences in Azerbaijan

There are currently 651 foreign nationals serving sentences in penitentiary institutions under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Justice.
The ministry told Report that 88 foreign nationals were handed over to the State Migration Service after completing their sentences in 2026.
It was also reported that 79 foreign nationals were sentenced to imprisonment by Azerbaijani courts in 2026.
