WhatsApp to stop working on some smartphones

WhatsApp messenger will stop working on older iPhone models, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
Theb support for devices running iOS 9 and below has disappeared in the latest beta version of the iOS app. There is no confirmation of this information on the official WhatsApp resource yet.
At the moment, the official list of iPhone operating systems supported by messenger includes iOS 9 or newer versions.
Since January 1, 2021, the messenger has stopped working on a number of devices whose users have not updated the operating system to the above-mentioned iOS 9 or Android 4.0.3.
