Number of fake domains similar to state domain names in Azerbaijan announced

In the first half of this year, 52 fake domains similar to state domain names in Azerbaijan were detected, Tural Mammadov, Head of the Department of State Service of Special Communication and Information Security (SCSI), said at the Second Summit of IT heads of State Institutions, Report informs.

Mammadov said that these domains were already detected by special cyber intelligence tools during registration: "Together with the relevant government agencies, we blocked them across the country, which means that quite a few cyber attacks are blocked in the preparation period."
