Farid Osmanov has been appointed as the new adviser to the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Report informs.
Osmanov previously served as the director general of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) since 2020.
He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Finance and Credit of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, where he also received a master's degree.
Later, he completed his studies at the Faculty of Informatics and Management, specializing in "Information Technology in the Global Economy", and also received a master's degree from the University of Manchester in the UK.
Since 2005, he has held various positions in the CBA's Information Technology Department, and in 2013, he became its director.
