Fariz Jafarov: 92 million jobs will be closed worldwide by 2030

By 2030, Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies will create 170 million new jobs, while 92 million jobs will be lost worldwide, Fariz Jafarov, the Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy, said at the opening ceremony of the National Program project held within the framework of the 4SI Academy, Report minforms.

According to Jafarov, new specializations will indirectly create new skills and opportunities:

"Our citizens must be ready for this, develop their skills and acquire new knowledge. The goal of the program presented today is to develop knowledge and skills in fourth industrial revolution technologies in the country and support the training of qualified personnel in this field in the labor market. Within the framework of the project, tens of thousands of users will be able to use more than 8,000 courses free of charge on the world's largest online learning platform, Coursera, within 1 year."

He said that within the framework of the program, 2,500 trainings were translated into Azerbaijani using artificial intelligence and presented to users with subtitles: "In addition, the 10 most requested trainings were dubbed using 'deep fake' technology and made available to users."
