Export earnings of Azerbaijan’s Azercosmos down 44%

In January-October this year, Azercosmos, under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, exported services worth $21.7 million to 40 countries, respectively, 44.4% and one country less than in the same period last year.
In October this year, Azercosmos exported services (satellite telecommunications and optical satellite) to 36 countries for $2.4 million.
Compared to the same period last year, this is three countries and 64.2% less than a year earlier.
In ten months, Azercosmos sold the most services to the UK ($5.5 million), France ($4.6 million), Luxembourg ($3.6 million), UAE ($1.9 million), and Pakistan ($1.2 million).
The space agency’s service export revenue accounted for 81% of total revenue.
