COVID-19 pandemic caused an increase in cybercrime.

Report informs citing RIA Novosti that Francis Gurry, Director-General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), said that startups and freelancers in creative fields are sensitive.

Because everybody is now carrying our online shopping. This is a problem for the world,’ he said. He also named industrial spying and unfair competition among the criminal activities. According to him, obeying the rule for healthy competition attaches special importance.
