Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park to produce Bayraktar drones

Bayraktar Teknoloji Azerbaijan LLC has been granted resident status at the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, which is managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency of Azerbaijan.
According to Report, this brings the number of residents of the park to 39.
The company will implement the "Production of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" project on the territory of the industrial park.
The memorandum of intent signed in 2023 between the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry and the Turkish company Baykar envisaged cooperation on the joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles in Azerbaijan.
