Baku to host high-level event on digital action for green world

Participants of the Global Standards Symposium (GSS-24) and World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-24) have been invited to attend the high-level event "Digital Action for a Green World" to be held in Baku this November, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

The event will be organized jointly by the ministry and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) within the framework of COP29.

Shahin Babayev, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, who led the Azerbaijani delegation at the GSS-24 and WTSA-24 events held in New Delhi, India on October 14-15, spoke about the work done in the country in the field of technologies and innovations, projects, development of cooperation with other countries and international organizations in the field of digitalization and innovation.

The WTSA-24 conference, held every four years with the participation of representatives from 194 ITU member countries, sets standards for the development of telecommunications/ICT, and also determines the future directions of the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Bureau's activities.
