Azercosmos increased export revenues by 7% in January

In January 2025, the Space Agency under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (Azercosmos) exported satellite telecommunications services worth $1.5 million, according to the February issue of the Export Review published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications, Rerport informs.

According to the document, this is approximately 7% more than in the same period last year.

In January, 88 companies from 36 countries imported satellite telecommunications services. The number of countries decreased by 6 units compared to a year ago. The main export customers were Luxembourg, the UK, Egypt, Türkiye, Russia, Tanzania and South Africa.

In january, the share of Azercosmos' export revenues in its total revenues decreased from 75% to 69%.
