Azerbaijan to draft list of priority sectors for artificial intelligence

A list of priority sectors for artificial intelligence in Azerbaijan and state bodies responsible for the relevant sector will be prepared, according to the "Strategy of Artificial Intelligence for 2025–2028" approved by President Ilham Aliyev today, Report informs.

The strategy envisages assessing the potential and resources of state bodies in this field to develop and improve the management of artificial intelligence and preparing action plans by state bodies for each identified priority sector.

Moreover, it is planned to create a regulatory legal framework for responsible and ethical artificial intelligence, develop rules for identifying and preventing risks related to the protection of personal data during the design, implementation and use of artificial intelligence systems, and develop at least three state standards for artificial intelligence.
