Azerbaijan set to commence integration of banks into digital document system this year

The upcoming year will witness the commencement of integrating private entities into Azerbaijan’s Digital Document Circulation subsystem, the Deputy Chairman of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Khalikov, said at a press conference, Report informs.
Khalikov stated that in the initial phase, the focus will be on incorporating banks into the digital framework.
He added that presently, the system encompasses 950 governmental bodies. The end-of-year goal is to ensure electronic document interchange between the public and state agencies through the integration of the Subsystem with the Digital Government Platform.
