Azerbaijan’s technology parks to produce AI technologies

Technology parks and industrial zones in Azerbaijan will begin producing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, as outlined in the Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2025-2028, approved today by President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.

To achieve this, the strategy aims to attract residents specializing in AI technology production to these designated areas.

Additionally, the strategy outlines key measures to foster a favorable business environment for AI development in Azerbaijan. These include encouraging both local and foreign investments in priority sectors; implementing at least three pilot projects in identified priority areas; drafting normative legal acts to support business entities; and providing concessional loans to at least 50 businesses.

The initiative marks a significant step toward advancing AI innovation and strengthening the technological landscape in Azerbaijan.
