Azerbaijan, EBRD mull digitalization of railway transport

Azerbaijan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of digitalization in the field of government cloud, metro and railway transport, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev said on the social network X, according to Report.

The minister met with EBRD Executive Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus Matteo Patrone, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

"At the meeting, we talked about the progress of the project to expand the broadband Internet access network, implemented by Aztelecom LLC on the basis of a loan from the EBRD," Nabiyev said.
