Compared to a year ago (39.87 MB/S), the average speed of fixed broadband internet in the country has doubled.
Singapore (393.15 MB/S) ranked first in fixed broadband internet speed last month, while Syria (3.19 MB/S) was in last place.
In June, Azerbaijan ranked 55th among 103 countries in mobile internet speed with 72.52 MB/S, advancing two spots compared to May.
The United Arab Emirates (546.14 MB/S) ranked first in mobile internet speed, while Bolivia (13.92 MB/S) was in last place.
During the reporting month, Baku city's position in terms of fixed broadband internet speed remained stable compared to the previous month, ranking 115th among 196 cities with a speed of 78.78 MB/S.
Lyon (347.52 MB/S) led the ranking of cities for fixed broadband internet. Aleppo (2.55 MB/S) was in the last position.
The Azerbaijani capital city dropped three positions compared to the previous month in terms of mobile internet speed, ranking 87th among 150 cities with a speed of 88.2 MB/S.
Among cities, Al Rayyan (561.48 MB/S) ranked first in mobile internet speed, while La Paz (Bolivia) (10.76 MB/S) was in last place.
