Women, newborns transported from fire-hit perinatal center to another hospital

Forteen women and sixteen newborns evacuated from the Republican Perinatal Center after the fire were hospitalized at Yeni Clinic, Report informs, citing head of the neonatology department of the Yeni clinic, Akbar Guliyev.

Guliyev clarified that among the evacuated women there were 5 pregnant women and 9 postpartum women.

The condition of all evacuated patients is stable and they are receiving all the necessary assistance, he said.
