Although the risk of COVID-19 infection after vaccination is significantly reduced, the possibility of the disease still exists, Report informs via Danmarks Radio.
According to infectious disease specialist Thomas Benfield and immunologist Rune Hartmann, coronavirus can also be severe in vaccinated people. The study has shown that mostly vaccinated older adults are prone to get infected with the coronavirus.
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 in vaccinated people are headache, runny nose, cough, sore throat, and sneezing. Fever and loss of smell are observed less often among the vaccinated.
