No monkeypox cases recorded in Azerbaijan - OFFICIAL

Monkeypox virus can be fought by keeping the epidemiological situation in the country under control, Tayyar Eyvazov, a specialist-expert of the Ministry of Health and an infectious disease specialist, said.
Report informs, citing the ministry official, that the disease has not yet spread widely.
He noted that this virus has not been registered in Azerbaijan for today: "However, this does not mean that it will not happen. It should be taken into account that quite advanced measures have been taken in the country to fight the disease."
