Karabakh University may adopt world-class Mayo Clinic model

Karabakh University is poised to implement the world's best clinical model, according to Samir Babayev, the university's Director of Medical Programs.

Report informs that, speaking at a panel during the Healthcare Administrators Summit, Babayev highlighted the potential for significant progress in education and medical services by applying principles from the renowned Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA.

Drawing from his previous experience working at the Mayo Clinic, Babayev emphasized the clinic's non-profit approach, where all revenue is directed towards employee welfare and infrastructure development. "The primary goal is to maximize the quality of medical services by increasing employee satisfaction," he explained.

The Mayo Clinic is known for providing its employees with high and stable salaries without additional bonuses or privileges. "This approach ensures the long-term retention of professionals," Babayev noted. He further emphasized that equal pay for employees in the same positions strengthens team collaboration.

Patients, upon hearing the clinic's name, are confident in receiving high-quality medical services without the need to choose a specific doctor. "Applying these principles at Karabakh University can boost competitiveness in education and healthcare," Babayev asserted. "This step will create great potential for transforming the university into an internationally recognized institution."
