The Plant Health Forum For Green World will be held in Baku on May 21-22, Report informs via the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA).
Representatives of a number of state institutions, as well as representatives of foreign countries and international organizations, and experts are expected to participate in the event, which will be jointly organized by AFSA and the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan.
The forum is dedicated to safeguarding plants and their products against detrimental organisms. Its objectives include bolstering plant health by combating and managing current pests, enhancing the production and securing commerce of plant-related goods, and fostering cooperation among national plant health bodies, regional and global entities, governmental departments, academic institutions, and specialized laboratories. This collective effort aims to preserve worldwide food security and biodiversity.
