Azerbaijan to start using Sputnik V vaccine tomorrow

The Ministry of Health, the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance, and the Union of Medical Territorial Units have issued a joint statement.
According to Report, the statement reads:
"Vaccination against COVID-19 is underway in Azerbaijan under the Vaccination Strategy for 2021-2022. From May 18, citizens will be able to use the Russian-made Sputnik V vaccine to be inoculated against a new type of coronavirus infection. It will start at the Baku Health Center, located at 112 Azadlig Avenue.
"Any citizen over the age of 18 who has no contraindications can be vaccinated. Sixty-five countries have already recognized the Sputnik V vaccine."
