Azerbaijan reveals weekly COVID statistics

Azerbaijan recorded eight new coronavirus cases over the past week (August 7–13), the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
Seven COVID patients recovered, and two died.
Overall, the country has reported 832,044 cases of infection, 821,738 recoveries, and 10,295 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 11 people are receiving treatment.
Over the past week, 2,028 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,665,921 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
As many as 83 people were vaccinated in the country during the past week.
The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far is 13,968,691.
