Azerbaijan reports 46 new COVID-19 cases, 5 deaths

Azerbaijan recorded 46 new coronavirus cases and 5 deaths over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 61 people recovered from the infection.

Overall, the country has reported 831,460 cases of infection, 820,953 recoveries, and 10,250 deaths. At present, 257 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past day, 1,471 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,593,644 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.

At the same time, 205 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today. Thus, the total number of vaccinated people reached 13,962,017.
